Best Property Investment Courses In South Africa

Are you an aspiring entrepreneur looking for the best property investment courses in South Africa to develop your skills?

Property investing has become a sought after wealth creation and legacy building asset class. Some of the wealthiest individuals in the world all own vast amounts of real estate in some form or the other.

But how do you decide between a good investment and a bad investment?

This is where knowledge and skill comes into play. Which is why you want to spend some time developing yourself to be in the best possible situation where you can make informed decisions

In this article we provide a breakdown of some of the best property investment courses in South Africa

Before we get into the details of each course, you have to understand your personal situation and goals when selecting a property course.

Time

Do you have the time?

If you have limited time due to work and family, then you might want to consider short courses that you can do Part time or online.

Or perhaps you have more time (and money) on your hands and you can take on a more intense course of study over a longer period.

Purpose of Study

Are you looking to study property investing to actually become an investor or developer?

Or are you looking to get into a property related career/job?

Degrees and long term courses are valuable but they are not always necessary to become successful at property investing.

The shorter courses should not be seen as less valuable simply because they can be finished in a few weeks or months. If your plan is to become an investor, then learning fast and taking practical action soon are your best course of action. Because on-the-job learning will always teach you more than a classroom ever will.

So do not put off your property investing journey until you finish a 3 year degree or 6 month course. If you have the time and budget, it can only help you if you can take on the courses, WHILE also taking action doing or trying to do deals.

This approach will shorten your learning curve dramatically.

Hence your best course of action is a combo approach where you LEARN WHILE YOU DO. University education is notorious for lacking practical application and only focusing on theory. This is why, if you can, your should focus on doing BOTH at the same time.

We will thus breakdown this article into two sections

  1. Full Time property investment courses
  2. Part Time property investment Courses

The best way is to partner with someone experienced. Developments are risky projects. Mistakes can mean significant financial loss. To mitigate that it’s best to get around people who have successfully done it before
